HEADONISM DESA POTATO HEAD BALI - THAILAND EDITION

The monthly weekend of pure, multi-sensory indulgence– the potato head way. A full immersion into the “good times, do good” lifestyle through experimental music sessions, sustainability workshops, morning meditations, ice baths and, naturally, sunset libations, and so much more.

April’s Headonism features a host of talents from the Land Of Smiles at Desa Potato Head, presenting music, art, wellness, F&B, and sustainability with a Southeast Asian core in a Thailand Edition.

On Friday evening, Chef Pam from Bangkok’s beloved Potong restaurant presents her Masterclass & Dinner Journey. Taking place at Tanaman, the award-winning chef will share secrets of her sublime culinary expertise, showcasing a selection of her iconic dishes while offering an introduction to some of Thailand’s signature flavours. Over in the Beach Club, revered international selectors Lipelis and Raphaël Top-Secret are joined by Bangkok-based artist NOTEP and the Transport party collective, with Potato Head resident Marvel providing support.

On Saturday, Bangkok-based artist Hutsama Juntaratana will run a bio-based material workshop at Sweet Potato Kids, before NOTEP leads a contemporary mala meditation & manifestation workshop over at Tanaman. In the evening time, Sunset Park plays host to an intoxicating blend of sights, sounds and flavours. Cherished Talad Noi venue Tropic City joins Charmgang to takeover the bar & kitchen as a selection of Bangkok-based DJs set the celebratory mood, while an art performance from Saipa Fine Arts & Arsa Wijaya will take place during the magical sunset hours. When the night falls, venerated acid house pioneer A Guy Called Gerald brings his nocturnally-charged sound to Studio Eksotika, with resident DJs from Bangkok’s Never Normal adding heat to the subterranean groove.

Finally, on Sunday, 100 Mahaseth will serve their authentically prepared Isan cuisine with their Ijen Kitchen Takeover, showcasing the nuanced flavours of Thailand’s North and Northeast regions with an irresistibly homespun flourish. Saipa Fine Arts will deliver an Ancient Thai Boxing exhibition at Sweet Potato Kids, before we head to the Amphitheater for the closing show from contemporary molam specialists, Paradise Bangkok, and Balinese outfit, Kadapat.
